About Half-Ass Couture
Half-Ass Couture was born from a country kid’s donkey dreams and Brighty-inspired afternoons in rural North Dakota. It started with an obsession found in a little school library, blossomed into a barnyard passion, and eventually became a brand dedicated to celebrating long-ear love in all its stubborn, unapologetic glory.
Every hoodie, tee, and mug is designed for real-life donkey devotees, but there’s more to the story than cozy gear and cheeky graphics. Our mission is rooted in giving back: each purchase helps burro rescues provide essential care and second chances for donkeys and mules in need.

Our Hoofprint Heroes are the rescues, sanctuaries, foster programs, and tireless advocates working every day to give donkeys and mules a brighter future. We don’t just cheer them on from afar, we actively walk beside them by providing quarterly donations, emergency grants, storytelling spotlights, custom gear for their hardworking teams, and co-hosted events that rally communities around their cause.
From quiet, rural sanctuaries caring for a handful of beloved burros, to passionate advocates campaigning for long-ear welfare, each Hero’s story is unique and inspiring.

How Hoofprint Heroes Works
Every quarter, we set aside 10% of our gross revenue to support donkey and mule rescues through our Hoofprint Heroes Fund. That fund gets split between emergency grants, equal shares for all active partners, and extra help for those with the biggest needs. How to Join Hoofprint Heroes
Is your organization doing amazing work for donkeys, mules, and long-ears in need? We’d love to help you amplify your impact. The Hoofprint Heroes program is more than just funding: it’s a partnership designed to lift you up and shine a spotlight on your mission.
Approved Heroes receive quarterly donations, eligibility for quick-turnaround emergency grants, and a full bundle of marketing support—including storytelling spotlights, team gear packs, and event collaborations. Applying is simple, and joining our herd means you'll always have allies ready to help carry the load.
